I have two good job offers on the table right now and am having a hard time deciding which to take.
Job one has good benefits and a company vehicle. It is 40 miles from my home.
Job two has more benefits, no company vehicle and is 60 miles from my home. This job pays ,000 more.
The most important benefits (health and retirement) are similar.

I owe the IRS 7K for taxes this year. The money I owe is for taking an early withdrawal from our 401K to fix the bathroom. I’m not sure it counts as a hardship, but the bathroom was mold infested and needed to be gutted everything replaced. Can i take more money out of my 401K to pay the taxes due and not have to incurr another penalty?
I am 56 with one child left in college. I am in good health and have quite a few interests. I would like to semi retire now with the idea of being completely out of the work force in 2 years. I like boating, cycle riding, would like to travel a lot more (my family is all over the place from Portland to Minnesota). My wife will retire as well, so we will lose both incomes, but we have no debt so I think we will be fine. I just want to be sure we have thought of everything.
