Are there any seniors that are receiving Social Security and have an increase ?
and have it taken away even before you get the increase?
I get SSI and SSDI and its at the lowest end and receive the direction card. Each December they send you a letter like I just got a few minutes ago stating 97% of the income increase I will be getting will be deducted on my Direction Card…. plus my rent will go up and I will wind up owing more than I receive. Any seniors have this also?
Does it upset you like it does me?

Contact your Local Social security Office you should have a worker there, take the letter with you and a letter from your Landlord about you rent increase that effects your benefits In January we are suppose to receive a cost of living increase I am on SSI and SSDI and I don’t know what a "Direction Card" is, is it something you signed up for? Your worker may know how to configure your benefits to help you get more money mine did!
