hi im 20 years old and had rheumatism since i was 14 and crohn since i was 17 rheumatism runs in my family and my specific one is called bechterew lately im having alot of problems in my knees i wake up at night because of the pain and most of the itme im missing 2 out of 4 classes i go to (i just moved to denmark so i go to danish learning school) my boyfriends friend is 23 and has a pension wich took her 2 years to get she also has a mobility dissease but her dissease cant be seen on xrays she said i should look into it so i called my doctor to send a report over translated in english and i want to go to the hospital to take xrays of my hips knees and hands.. but my question is as a foreigner in denmark (im a EU citizen) how big is my chance of getting one? i have been living here for a year and havent worked yet i worked for 2 months in belgium but 1 of the 2 months i was home because it was to hard for me
it is NOT possible to get rid of either rheumatism or crohn there has not been found a cure against them if you dont know what youre talking about please refrain from replying

How do you think Hershelle Gibbs's forced early retirement is going to affect RSA's World Cup '11 chances?

Agreed he has not been in good form and has probably lost all respect and trust of his team-mates after the release of his book but still this guy has been the pillar of South Africa’s tremendous success, scoring at a blitz rate and giving the side the cyclonic start in pressure games (vs Australia 438) when required. A brilliant fielder at point, a gutsy batsman…don’t you think RSA should have given this man another chance so as to bring in the experience of this class player. I agree there’s not enough time to settle the differences between Smith, Kallis, De Villiers, Boucher and Gibbs but Gibbs wanted to continue till the World Cup. Shouldn’t the former players needed to step-in and help alleviate the situation in the interest of South Africa?

Why am I double taxed on my retirement money?

If, I withdraw my retirement money early I am charged a certain percent to withdraw it. Then, I am taxed again when I have to claim the money on my end of year taxes, 1040 form.

how much did YOU save up for retirement for those who had early retirement at ages 40-50?

I am trying to figure out if it’s better working for the government (finances wise) 20 years with good pension (well it’ s good compared tomost companies…few companies give you pension)
I know it can be better financially in some cases but if your

of course there are jobs in the gov’t that pay that but few
well i hear u start receiving full pension at 55 but you can retire with full pension if u work for 20 years

is becoming the most unbearable. It’s serious to the point of, I feel like crying sometimes when I wake up in the morning to go to work. I always condition my mind to think Mind over Matter… but so far it’s not working very well. What can I do to stay for another year and keep my sanity at the same time. Any tips?

My job is very stressful, I can’t even imagine how I was able to spend 9 years there. Deadlines everyday, too many gods to appease.

Twenty years in the Navy/military early retirement? (Need answers from retired Sailors).?

I leave for boot camp next week but Im sort of getting ahead f myslef planning out my future before I even graduate. Im curious as to how hard it is to stay in the Navy for 20 years. Im 19 now and if I was to serve for 20 years Id be able to retire with a pension by the age of 40 which sounds pretty awesome. I dropped out of CSUN just to join the Navy because the benefits are great and I want to be a part of something bigger while travelling around the world repping my country, I only have 21 college credits and Im trying to make the most out of my time in the Navy. How many college creds do I need to get promoted to E2 faster? I got a 5 year HM contract but I got no enlistment bonus like my friends. Is it possible to get the 100 college units I need to get a BS to become an officer? I know Im getting ahead of myself and I might come off greedy but Im ambitous and I want to outdo my sister who puts me to shame academically. I understand that my priority in the Navy is to support and defend the constitution and democracy (I have everything in the Recruit’s book memorized because Im serious about making a name for myself in the Navy). Also, if I transfer to the Air Force after my 5 year contract ends will I go back to the first rating? Thanks in advance.

I’m still in pain and know have knee pain-could have been from limping but it could be more…Should I have my dr. right me out for an addition 2 wks or let the orthopedic surgeon? Don’t want to go back to the office-but must clean out my desk! (can do that on a weekend, right? Or is that a problem since I’m out on disability?

What can I do for early retirement?

I’m 15 and I am hoping to get into this 6 week program that pays 9 at the end of the program. I am going to put half into investments and then split the rest into another half and put some in my checking account and savings account. I hope to get a part time job during the school year so I can open up a Roth IRA account. My uncle told me that I would probably be working for the next 60 years of my like and I was like wtf (in my head). So I was reading and a Roth IRA account seems to be the way to go because I can take some of the money out to help buy my first home and a car. i just want to make sure that I am well diversified and that my money is working for me to the best of its abilities. Also I already am trying to invest in assets rather than liabilities=]
