Occupational Health and Early Retirement on medical grounds?

Can anyone help me.

Question (1) What questions are asked from occupational health (BUPA), to be eligible for ill health retirement?
Question (2) How ill do you have to be to get early retirement on medical grounds?

Not looking to blaze new trails so much. Just wondering about places to get away and retire in comfort, earlier than I would be able to here in the States. So some language concerns, no taxes for $ brought in, low cost of living, high quality of life, safety, healthcare are all considerations. Thoughts?
I guess I should add that I have a hard time living in a country where one of the major political parties can sabotage the recovery efforts of the govt, tell our lenders (China) our money is no good, kill job stimulus, and then kick the unemployed in the teeth while they, the real victims of this recession, are down. Only a few years ago, it was all United We Stand this so shut up about the deficit and United We Stand that so shut up about the Constitution too. Now, it’s all about doing the worst economic thing possible, denying UI benefits, in the name of fiscal responsibility while not touching the trillions in corporate welfare to Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Big Oil, more 1st amendment rights to foreign corporations than U.S. citizens, etc. Sorry to rant, but I have been abroad many times. I know there are many places where politicians and govt work for the people. Too bad our country is going downhill so quickly.

A leading House Republican on Thursday predicted more retirements from Democrats and did not deny that the GOP is recruiting additional Democratic lawmakers to switch parties.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), a top deputy to House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.), said during a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor at the St. Regis Hotel that there would be more Democrats to step down as election filing deadlines approach.

Early retirement plan?

My wife and I contribute a good amount of money into our 401K’s and have increased as of March due to the stock market decline. We also have a good amount already in our nest egg and a good amount of equity in our home (about 70%). As the market has been on a decline, we have decided to start investing in stocks (for the long term; about 20 years) with our extra money. So, is this a good idea to build up extra income a ways off? I am trying to follow the Graham approach to investing-long term; value investing strategy. Is this a good methodology or is there something better?

I have a plan with AIG but I have lost too much money and I need to roll over. Who can I roll over into and trust that I won’t lose any additional funds?
If I haven’t lost any money, then why does my quarterly statement show a different dollar value than it did last year this time?

ignore the above – The real question I was wondering about is: which will happen first? Federer winning the French Open or winning 15 grand slams. I really can’t make up my mind about this.

He has two rental properties that are for "our" retirement. He chose his cousins as the beneficiaries because they are on welfare and he says they seem to need the houses most.
He is just my fiance we aren’t married yet so maybe that should be factored in here. Maybe when we get married he’ll put them in my name. He got really angry when I talked to him about my concerns. I am not after his money. I just want to know I will be secure in my old age or sooner if my "husband" were to unfortunately die (I hope doesn’t happen).
I want to know we are working towards a future together, building a nest egg, going through life together. This just doesn’t seem right to me. Should I be bothered?
I do work full time and have a 401k and 1 investment property of my own. Maybe he thinks I don’t need it. What we have kids? (He got angry when I said that. He said "when we do I’ll change it") I guess my concerns are he isn’t working towards a "WE" but a "HE" as if he is still single. Maybe I am wrong. What do you think?

Two of every three practicing physicians oppose the medical overhaul plan under consideration in Washington, and hundreds of thousands would think about shutting down their practices or retiring early if it were adopted, a new IBD/TIPP Poll has found.

The poll contradicts the claims of not only the White House, but also doctors’ own lobby — the powerful American Medical Association — both of which suggest the medical profession is behind the proposed overhaul.

It also calls into question whether an overhaul is even doable; 72% of the doctors polled disagree with the administration’s claim that the government can cover 47 million more people with better-quality care at lower cost.
