I was wondering what should I look into when it comes to investing your money?
Well, I’m a first year college student who is thinking about his future! Currently, I only have 4.54 in my checking account and the money that I have beside that are in change or for spending money! I’m looking for options in how should I invest of what I have now! In addition, I don’t know anything when it comes to retirement plans beside their names, but I need advices on retirement, too! See, my goal is to one day, own a home that cost at least a ,000,000!

Thats a nice goal. Invest in gold. You dont really have much disposable income right now…
Unfortunately, that’s about how much a home will cost in about 7 years.
You can invest in ME — I’m laid off and you have more in your checking account than I DO!!! lol (sort of lol)
my money you won’t touch.
Just save it for now. Wait until you have a larger amount and invest in the stock market… choose the safe stocks for long term investment..
Your situation isn’t unusual. This is the same book I recommend to members of my own family, friends and business acquaintances:
"The Riches Man in Babylon" by George S. Classon. Its inexpensive [paperback] and very easy to read.
its principles very easy to adapt and follow.
You bought it. You can write in it, make notes and do anything else with it you want. You don’t have to read the entire book at one time. Just make the promise to yourself to read 5 pages each day. This is all you have to do with any book.
Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Yes, that is my real last name!
That 1,000,000 is not out of your reach, your $164 might sound small however thats a great start price if you know what your doing in the stock market. I would recommend around $300 minimum to see some good gains. With some good stocks and a little homework you will be fine. Getting stocks that bring in a 10% gain or more isnt hard and a great place to find some is http://goldenbullstocks.com check them out you will be impressed!
