I wouldn’t bet on it. A few of the liberal degenerates in Congress have actually tossed around the idea of a government takeover of 401ks.
I’ve heard of worry about that for over 40 years and those pensions keep cranking out checks.
That depends on how well the funds are invested, doesn’t it? Funds that are well managed and which have the flexibility to reduce payments will be fine.
I would rather have the money myself, in a personal IRA or 401(k) account.

No , for their principal is being drained . An there is less people putting into these private plans . Now the government plans have no principals they come out of the general funds or from borrowed funds .
