This morning, we were cleaning our garage, when we found a tiny teal egg, that is the size of a dime. (very small) The only birds who have been around our garage are morning doves, and we know this isn’t a morning dove egg. There are no nests nearby and it was just sitting in the middle of the pavement. What should we do with it?
My canary has become very quiet, and is puffed up. It is early Spring and I am wondering if she is going to lay an egg? (she is housed alone) If this is the case, is there anything I need to get for her to build a nest even though these eggs wouldn’t be fertile?
it layed just one egg from 4 days and it layed it on the cage floor,i moved the egg to the nest by a spoon.but shes not making the nest i put for her all the materials,it have a male with her and am sure the egg is fertile,so please help!!!?
So my love bird laid an egg. However in the cage, we provided a nest for the love birds. i dont think they are really using it because both of them just leave the egg at the bottom of the cage. So we got the egg and carefully placed it in the nest. The next three days another egg hatched and they placed it at the bottom of the cage. So there is the egg we put in the nest and the other egg in the cage. However im not really sure whether they like it in the cage or they like it in the bottom of the cage. Should I just put the other egg they laid in the nest? please answer
my daughter took a egg out of the nest and if she puts it back will the mother kill the egg or will she knock it out of the nest?
theres a pigeon nest(not very established XD) but yea its where the water drains down from the balcony and its raining what should i do? the pigeons arnt around :S

My pigeon pair has laid eggs 10 days before and sitting on them properly. One day I saw an egg out of the nest. I marked that eggs and placed it back to nest. I am observing that sometimes she do not sit on that specific egg. male use to sit on all eggs.. Early reply will be highly appriciated

The dropped egg was wet in water. It was chilled but I put back to nest. I surprised to see that both eggs converted into two little babies last night.
Got K to play with (invest) but want to sink it into a Roth or IRA, I’m not a day trader or short termer. Looking to retire at age 60 and maybe do something to keep me busy after that but nothing full time or to difficult.
Plan on being debt free when that time comes around. I make over 0K per year now and max my contributions now along with high rate CD’s and some odd stocks here and there. But my main question is where should I park that K egg??? Thanks

I removed the blanket as soon as i realized what happened. Never touched the nest. And she was chirping at me from a tree befor i realized what i had done so she was still there when i uncovered it. If she only had one egg does that mean she wasn’t incubating yet? How long does the egg have befor it dies? I know about bird shelters but that is iirrelevantif it has no hope?
A hen has made a nest and laid an egg on my windowsill directly next to the air conditioner. Will having it on bother her? It’s not too bad but I assume a large air conditioner making noises and such would bother the bid a little, and I don’t want to bother the mommy-to-be!

I have found a nest on my window ledge. Currently, I see 3 chicks (hatched). However, there is still one light blue egg which hasn’t hatched. The mother is still coming in to feed the 3 baby chicks. Has the fourth egg gone bad? Will it still hatch? Like is the mother supposed to incubate the egg? I believe the bird is an American robin. This is because the mother has a orangish chest and blackish head and wings. Also the egg is light blue. I will really appreciate your help =)
A nest fell out of my tree and landed on the tarp covering my pool. I found it not long after it fell, and there was one egg in it. I think it’s a finch egg, because there is another finch nest in my backyard and I always see at least two pairs of them on the fence. Should I put this egg in the other nest that I know the other mommy finch is sitting in?
I have a Budgie hen ho has raised some chicks b4 but has not breed for the last 2 seasons. She is 3 years old now and I finally have her breeding again. She layed her 1st egg 2 days ago and is due to lay again today, but this morning I noticed she had thrown her egg out of the nest? This hasn’t ever happened to me b4 and I am wondering why she did this?
I am not colony breeding, she is in a seperate cage with her mate!
She is staying in her nest and seems to be wanting to continue laying, hat can I do to discourage this behaviour if she does it again?
Also I just checked her nest this evening and she didn’t lay today….weird?! Maybe she has gone off the idea of nesting? although she is still spending all her time in the nest box and is sleeping inthere tonight….
ok well a bird some how got into are garage and made a nest and laid an egg, but if the egg is to live i will have to take it somewhere else because if it hatches then how is the mom to get in or out if the garage door is closed so what should i do?
