When we got our policies I was 24 and my wife was 29. We got our renewal notice for the next 10 years and they are now over twice as much. Is that common or just our insurance figuring they already have us so they will charge more?

I think it is called Variable Term Life. Not term nor Wh. life.K. Premium is 9/mo. Income is very tight. My kids are grown and settled in careers. Spouse is financially in good shape. My retirement contributions have been non-existent, self employed. I have this idea to cancel and put premium into IRA. No one will really benefit from the insurance anyway. And I need to build retirement income. Any experience on this?

I am looking for suggestions as there are so many positions that are out there that I am still not aware of. I do not hold an MBA but a top producer at my firm and willing to start from the bottom as I see the value in learning.
I sell insurance, mutual funds and managed money. Looking to go into something in sales that is more specialized where experience actually means something. Maybe some type of institutional sales. thanks!

I am deciding which company to go with for my life insurance purchase. Wanted to make sure my spouse and child wouldn’t be mistreated by the company should anything happened to me.
Thanks!

I recently applied for univeral life insurance. Can I purchase term in the meantime..?
..In other words, can I purchase term life insurance while awaiting confirmation of my universal policy – with the same insurance company (I know I will be approved for universal because of my good health). Please, informed answers only. Thanks everyone.

I came across an offer of Free 0,000.00 Term Life Insurance Policy just for registering to try a new Free FOREX trading system. It requires medical exam, but at my age it would save a few thousand dollars, so I registered at www.FreedomFOREX.IntelaTRADER.com to see if it is for real or not. Anyone else see an incentive like this before?

I currently have a 0,000 Adjustable Life Insurance policy and want to convert it to a 0,000 20 Year Term. Can I do this or will I have to surrender the policy and start a new policy? I checked my life policy and there is nothing mentioned about any type of conversion. Just curious about everyone’s thoughts.

Say I get a term life insurance for 20 years and the coverage is 0,000, and I start it today, how long will it take so that when I die, my beneficiary will get the money? Does it varies depending on the insurance company or is there a general effective date?

i live in oklahoma, but would be willing to transfer to a texas if that is a better market for real estate. i currently have an insurance license, but have been licensed in real estate in the past and have no problem passing the test. insurance tends to have charge-backs, which real estate does not, but the hours are better in insurance. what do you think is more profitable, long term?
disregard the typo "a" before texas.
