I recently signed a purchase agreement for the purchase of a foreclosed property. The original purchase agreement was signed, but the signing seller did not identify themselves. We later signed an extension to the agreement and on that form the signing party on behalf of the seller identified himself. This person does not have power of attorney and is an REO broker. Is there any way this is a valid agreement?
I have been asked by my elderly land lady to be her Power of Attorney. Before I agree to anything, I would like to know what I would be responsible for or have the authority to do if I accepted this position. Also, what steps need to be taken in order to make that happen if I do decide to accept this responsibility.
Thanks for the help!
My great-grandpa passed away and named my mom his durable power of attorney saying that she has control and management over everything he owned. Some issues have come up with his land. Does she still have any control over what is to happen if she shows the document?
Ok its long but here I go. My grandparents both passed away within like 2 weeks of each other. After they passed we learned than my grandfathers son had borrowed alot of money from him. So much that he decided to take out a reverse mortgage on their house. Now both him and my grandmothers names were on the title. BUT here comes the tricky part. My mother had Power of Attorney over my grandmother. My grandmother was not able to feed herself let alone sign papers or understand anything that was going on. If she had been she would have never agreed to do that. So my grandfather did this without my mother(the power of attorney) knowing. So when they passed away the house and the 30,000 dollars in credit card debt got passed to my mother. Now the reverse mortgage company is saying they need the money back (which they will take out of the house) but we need the money for their debt. Now I guess what I am asking is that if we go to court saying that my grandmother could not have signed or if

I am looking for information on getting a medical power of attorney over my father. He doesn’t want to give it to me because he thinks he is fine, but he is not. Can this be done? What do I need to get this type of power of attorney so I can make important decisions for his health that he is no longer able to make for himself?
Thanks for your help.
My boyfriend will be going to AIT soon and possibly deployed. Can I hold Power of Attorney for him?
They are asking for a form to be signed, titled "Power of attorney to sign for owner when registering and/or transferring ownership of a motor vehicle"…. I don’t feel comfortable giving this dealership the right to sign FOR me.
My father is in prison and he needs to sell his car for money. His girlfriend took the registration and title for the vehicle and won’t give it back. I have the car because I have power of attorney is it possible for me to obtain copies of either paper work and sell the car, or just sell the car with out the papers. The police can do nothing seeing how she keeps saying she doesn’t have them. So any ideas? What should I do?

Can someone else become the power of attorney over my husband? We have been separate for a little over a year. I know he has a girlfriend and has recently gotten himself into a bit of trouble with the law. She is alot younger than him and I think he is going thru a mid life crisis lol. Do I still have rights over him (ie:Power of Attorney)? Please let me know thanks. Real answers please.
I have an ill family member who is close to death and not able to authorize anyone to be power of attorney. Would it be possible or too late for her daughter to get power of attornery for her? If she passes away will her daughter be able to do a quit claim deed to her home?
I have durable power of attorney forms on my Mother, and she signed them and they were notarized. But do they now have to be submitted to some government agency in order to be valid?
Smith County, TX. No one working at government agencies will tell me because they say that is legal advice, and they are forbidden to give legal advice. So I am asking here.
