Eventually, the estate will be closed out, and once that happens, they can’t pay any more.
The ownership of the policy would need to be transferred to someone else – like a surving grandparent, or parent, or other adult relative.
Awwww. That’s sad. The Gerber plan is such a sham. Don’t pay any more … but see if there is any cash value in the plan that might be paid to the estate.
